Master Educator Outcome 2

Articulates, applies and adapts theoretical constructs of learning and development, assessment, and effective instruction.

This artifact is my final project for DMET 530 and it represents the summative examination of my learned instructional design skills. I use systemic design to examine a problem and then apply theory to the solution. The unit I develop is a grammar recovery unit to help students bridge observed learning gaps. This highly structured model begins by finding a need, developing a report on how to approach the problem, creating an analysis of the learners using qualitative and quantitative measures, then developing a workflow. This workflow serves as a map to the final evaluation. This artifact demonstrates my competence in applying various models of education and adapting them to my own instructional needs.
